When are the best months for kitesurfing in Cape Town?
The summer in Cape Town is from October – April. The best months for kitesurfing are December – March.
Where should I stay?
Blouberg beach is world famous for kiteboarding. There is a variety of kitesurfing accommodation in the area. We also offer kitesurfing accommodation in Blouberg.
Are there any flat water kitesurfing spots?
The flat water lagoon in Lagebaan is only an hours drive away from Blouberg. There are a variety of other flat water destinations in Hermanus and Brandvlei.
There are many kitesurfing stores in Blouberg (including Liquid Force Cape Town) who stock many brands and also offer kitesurfing gear rental.

Do I need a visa to travel to South Africa?

South Africa makes use of Rands. There are many ATM’s available. Most places accept Visa and MasterCard. Diners Club and American Express are NOT widely accepted in South Africa.

There are a variety of car rental companies that do long term rentals and cater to kitesurfers. These cars can be arranged to be collected at the airport. Uber is also available.
